The Lying Goat (series: Polish Fairy Tales)

Far, far away there lived a Housewife. She had a dog called Hałasek, a cat called Wąsatek and a very, very spoiled Goat. The Housewife takes in a little girl, Zazula – her task will be to watch over the Goat on the meadow.

The Meet

A retired man lives a solitary life. He avoids people and spends every day exactly the same as the one before it. But one day a meeting that changes all happens.

The Night Of

New York today. Naz Khan (Riz Ahmed), a student of Pakistani origin, gets invited to a party. Without his father’s consent he takes his car – a yellow cab – and sets off from Queens to Manhattan. When a beautiful woman gets in, Naz doesn’t know that it’s the beginning of his horror. He is soon accused of murder and he has to face justice. Attorney Jack Stone takes his side.

The Opening

An owner of a gallery opens an extraordinary exhibition. A terminally ill artist wants to die in front of the audience. Brought there from the hospital in his death throes, he becomes exhibited in the gallery as an object. Guests start arriving at the opening.

The place

A documentary which shows in a wide range the condition of the Polish education system through the prism of one school (IX LO in Gdynia). An image of the contemporary education system is drawn by statements of pupils, graduates, teachers and workers of the school.

The Plaid Puppy (The Little Checked Dog)

The Plaid Puppy – one of the Polish cult series for children. Actors play alongside animated characters, including a small plush dog. We witness his amazing adventures in a kid’s room (and the rest of the flat, but only while his owner is out).

The Red Captain

1992. After the fall of communism many criminal cases remained unsolved with their perpetrators never punished. Krauz, a young, ambitious homicide detective, comes across one of them. A body with numerous traces of torture was found in the city cemetery. Krauz and his partner decide to solve the mystery.

The Red Spider

1967. Around the world - the Rolling Stones, hippies, free love and marihuana. In Poland – years of grim communism. Karol Kremer is an average teenager from what you call a good family: he graduated from high school, he’s preparing for entrance exams to study medicine, he’s just won the local diving championship.
