Vienna, July 1914. In an abundantly ornamented office, two entrepreneurs – Wilhelm Arnheim and Izaack Goldstein – sign a trade agreement. When the signatures has already been put, Arnheim gives a friendly advice not to sail the ships purchased as they are best when in a dry dock. In exchange, Goldstein suggests that the tinned food just purchased is not eaten as they are best when in the storehouse. This way, Arnheim becomes the owner of 10 billion tins of spoiled food that nobody will buy. Unless…
