Accreditations, passes and tickets for the 49th PFF

To participate in the Polish Film Festival, you need to choose one of the following types of entries:

  • ACCREDITATIONS – sale of accreditations has been completed
  • PASSES
  • TICKETS 

ACCREDITATIONS – sale of accreditations has been completed

An accreditation is a personalised identifier entitling its holder to:

  •  enter all film screenings (prior online seat reservations required)
  •  receive a Festival packet containing festival materials;
  • participate in Festival accompanying events, with the exception of closed events with personal invitations required for participation
  • make reservations for press screenings and press conferences
  • participate in Gdynia Industry events – Media and Industry accreditations; An Observer accreditation holder can participate in such events only if there are any seats available

TYPES OF ACCREDITATIONS

  • INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION – granted to representatives of film industry such as producers, distributors, to representatives of film institutions, film events and other individuals who are professionally involved in film industry in Poland or abroad.
  • STUDENT INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION – granted to partner film school students at a promotional price on the basis of a valid student card.
  • MEDIA ACCREDITATION – granted to representatives of the media (radio, press, television, the Internet) and photojournalists.
  • OBSERVER ACCREDITATION – granted to individuals who are not professionally involved in film and/or media industries.

COLLECTION OF ACCREDITATIONS

Purchased accreditation can be collected only by an individual in whose name it was ordered, upon presentation of an ID card or any other document with a photo. Accreditations can be collected at the Festival front desk in the Musical Theatre at pl. Grunwaldzki 1:

  • 22nd September 2024, 3:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
  • 23rd–28th September 2024, 8:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.

RULES FOR ACCREDITATION USE AT THE FESTIVAL

  • Each type of accreditation entitles its holder to enter all film screenings held in the Musical Theatre in Gdynia (Large, New and Chamber Stage), in Helios cinema and the Gdynia Film Centre, prior to which the holder is required to make online seat reservations.
  • Each type of accreditation is programmed with 34 points (1 point corresponds to 1 film screening).
  • An accreditation does not entitle its holder to make seat reservations for the Young Gala and the Festival closing ceremony.
  • An accreditation holder may book no more than one seat for a film screening within given time (the so-called screening block).
  • Seat reservations for film screenings can be made from 8:00 a.m. on the day preceding the screening until the screening time. The first day of the Festival is an exception. Seat reservations can be made from Monday, 23rd September 2024, from 8:00 a.m.
  • An accreditation is supplied with a bar code for holder’s identification and reservation verification purposes. Permanent staff equipped with bar code readers will work shifts at the entrances to all screening rooms. Additionally, accreditations will be verified at each entrance to the Musical Theatre.
  • Failure to cancel reservation up to 15 minutes prior to screening time and failure to attend a film screening will automatically result in deduction of 4 points from the accreditation.
  • The Festival does not issue duplicates of accreditations. Exceptions are made for justified cases.

PASSES

  • A pass for the 49th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia is a personalized identification card which entitles its holder to enter film screenings held in Helios Cinema (Riviera Shopping Centre), the Gdynia Film Centre as well as on the New and Chamber Stage of the Musical Theatre.
  • The pass does not entitle its holder to enter film screenings held in the Festival Centre on the Large Stage of the Musical Theatre in Gdynia, or the site itself

RULES FOR PASSES SALE 

  • Sale of passes is carried out from 5th August to 21st September 2024 inclusive or until all passes are sold out, via https://system.festiwalgdynia.pl/en website.
  • From 22nd September 2024 passes will be available at festival ticket offices in Helios Cinema (Riviera Shopping Centre) only, as long as the pool is not exhausted
  • A pass costs PLN 350.00 and it  is programmed with 20 points (1 point corresponds to 1 film screening)
  • Payment for passes must be made immediately after the purchase order via online payment option available on the website (eService payment). Unpaid orders will be automatically cancelled.
  • Purchase of the pass will be confirmed by an email within 4 days of receiving the payment on the account of the Organizer.
  • A pass is personalized, which means that it contains the name and surname of the holder given in the order form.
  • To order a pass, all required fields must be filled in and a recent portrait photo of a maximum size of 2 Mb and minimum proportions of 400×400 pixels must be enclosed in png, gif of JPG format. The photo will be used for identification of the pass holder.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to cease sale of passes at any time without cause.
  • The Organizer does not accept returns of purchased passes.

COLLECTION OF PASSES

  • The purchased pass can be collected only by the person it was issued for, upon presentation of an ID card or any other document with a photo. Passes can be collected in the Customer Service Point located in Helios Cinema (Riviera Shopping Centre) (ul. Kazimierza Górskiego 2) on:
    • 22nd September 2024, 12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
    • 23rd–28th September 2024, 8:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

    Duplicate passes will not be issued. Transfer of a pass to other person results in deduction of 10 points. Should the situation repeat, the Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the pass.

RULES FOR PASSES USE AT THE FESTIVAL

  • Admission to film screenings will be possible only with prior online seat reservations;
  • The pass entitles its holder to enter all film screenings for audience at the 49th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia: New and Chamber Stage of the Musical Theatre, Helios Cinema (Riviera Shopping Centre) and Gdynia Film Centre, with prior online seat reservation made by the pass holder.
  • The pass does not entitle its holder to make seat reservations for the Festival Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
  • The pass holder may reserve no more than one seat for a film screening scheduled for a given screening time. Seat reservations for film screenings can be made from 8:00 a.m. on the day preceding the screening but no later than 15 minutes before the screening time. The first day of the Festival is an exception – seat reservations can be made on Monday, 23rd September from 8:00 a.m.
  • The pass holder can make seat reservation for no more than one film screening within each screening time period (screening block) on a given day. A screening block includes screenings which start within no more than 30 minutes of one another (e.g. 9:45 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.)
  • The pass will be marked with a bar code. Staff equipped with bar code readers will work shifts at the entrances to all screening rooms for identification and reservation verification purposes. Failure to cancel reservation up to 15 minutes prior to screening time and failure to attend a film screening will result in deduction of 4 points from the pass.
  • We kindly ask you to come to screenings on time.

TICKETS

Tickets can be purchased for single screenings held in all festival locations, except for the Large Stage of the Musical Theatre in Gdynia.

  • regular ticket PLN 27
  • reduced ticket PLN 23
  • ticket for short films screening PLN 18
  • group ticket PLN 16
