Ashes and Diamonds

The final day of the war, the last night of occupation, and the morning of the first day of peace — 8^th May 1945: over the course of these few hours, Maciek Chełmicki, a young soldier of the Home Army who was ordered to kill a Communist activist, will struggle with himself. Prepared to die a heroic death for his ideals, he now finds his first love and feels doubt for the first time.
