Maciej Drygas

Maciej Drygas is a director of documentary films and radio documentaries, screenwriter, producer, and a professor of the Łódź Film School. His works have won numerous prestigious awards, including the 1991 European Film Award for Best Documentary for ‘Hear My Cry’, the Grand Prix at the 1995 Monte-Carlo Television Festival for ‘Weightless’, and the Grand Prix for Best Documentary Feature at the 2013 Cinema Vérité in Tehran for ‘Abu Haraz’. His films and radio documentaries have been broadcast throughout Europe, as well as in Canada, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, New Caledonia, and Australia.
