The Memory of Speckles

This animated film, based on Zofia Stanecka’s short story Pamięć drobinek, transports us to a fairy-tale world inhabited by good spirits, who care for the forest and all its creatures. One day, a young guardian of plants and animals, Slippery Jack, disappears under mysterious circumstances. His sister, Blueberry, sets off in search of him, carried on the wings of a helpful owl. This fairy tale introduces children to the themes of empathy, justice, and loss.
