Lili

Lili is eight years old and trying to understand the adult world. She lives in Norway, where her parents emigrated, but they are no longer together. To spend time with Lili, her dad takes her on backpacking trips, which offer a chance to deepen their relationship. They hitchhike, sleep in a tent, hike along the fjords, and Lili asks difficult questions. After their separation, her parents have rebuilt their lives, which means the girl’s family now includes new members. How will Lili find her place in this patchwork arrangement?
