JUBILEE ALBUM: 50. TYLE RAZY KINO

50. Tyle razy kino is a unique publication accompanying the jubilee edition of the PFF in Gdynia. Widely available during the Festival, it’s a valuable collector’s item, just like the two previous books published to mark the 30th and 40th anniversaries of the PFF.
The book was written by Dr Anna Wróblewska (Łódź Film School) – historian, PFF archivist, and co-author of the earlier publications A statek płynie… and Film z widokiem na morze. Its core consists of fifty entries filled with quotations from PFF participants, press clippings, and, above all, priceless Festival archival materials and photographs. The second section of the book is an essay on the history of the PFF, and the publication concludes with an index of the Festival’s 50th edition. This concept was particularly close to the heart of Leszek Kopeć, the long-time Festival director who passed away in 2025. He was personally involved in structuring the book and selecting the entries. The graphic design was created by Eurydyka Kata and Rafał Szczawiński (re:design), and the publication was co-financed by the Polish Filmmakers Association.
