Festival Commemorative Coins
Every festival participant can receive a commemorative copper coin. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, 26th September at Grunwaldzki Square in Gdynia, a mint master from Mennica Polska will demonstrate the traditional art of minting Festival coins. He will explain the craft and its history and hand-mint unique copper coins on a dedicated wooden stump. Every visitor will receive a free souvenir coin.
Jubilee collection of silver coins
To commemorate the Festival’s jubilee, Mennica Polska will mint special silver commemorative coins using ore supplied by the KGHM Polska Miedź. The coins will be presented alongside the statutory awards to the winners during the Festival’s Award Ceremony and Closing. These unique objects will be part of a limited edition of fifty.
