Wojciech Jerzy Has (1st April 1925–6th October 2000) was a renowned Polish film director, screenwriter, producer, and academic. He created some of the most iconic Polish films, including How to Be Loved, The Saragossa Manuscript, The Noose, and The Hourglass Sanatorium.

The Polish Senate has declared 2025 the Year of Has, which is why twenty-five posters designed for all of Has’s films – including documentaries, shorts, and one for the unmade project The Donkey –will be displayed during this year’s edition of the PFF.
