HOW TO MAKE FILMS AND STAY SANE? – PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
Filmmaking is intense, often emotionally demanding work. Together, we will discuss mental health in the industry and the tools that help maintain balance and psychological safety in the creative process. Hosted by the PFA Young Filmmakers Circle: Friday, 5:00–6:00 p.m.
COLLABORATION BETWEEN DIRECTOR AND SCREENWRITER
Creative collaboration between the director and the screenwriter is key to making a successful film. This discussion will explore how to build trust, collaborate effectively, and develop ideas together to ensure that the film stands on a solid foundation. Screenwriter Marcin Grabowski and director Bartosz Paduch, authors of the Main Competition film Territory, will talk about their creative partnership.

Kamil Chomiuk and Maciej Wiktor, the founders and organisers of SFPitch, will explain. The presentation will be followed by individual consultations, which require prior registration. The PFA Screenwriters Circle invites all festival guests to a two-hour Screenwriters’ Walk. In the spirit of the ancient Peripatetics, we will stroll together and talk in a relaxed atmosphere about projects, collaboration, challenges, and the joys of a screenwriter’s work. The walk is co-ordinated by Joanna Didik, a member of the Main Board of the PFA and of the Board of the PFA Screenwriters Circle
