Adrian Panek

Adrian Panek studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. He graduated in Directing from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Radio and Television Faculty of the University of Silesia in Katowice and from Wajda School. He made short films, many music videos and TV commercials. In 2011 he made his feature-length debut with a costume drama, Daas, starring Andrzej Chyra, Mariusz Bonaszewski and Olgierd Łukaszewicz. For this film, Panek won numerous awards, including Andrzej Munk Award for Best Directing Debut of 2011 and Janusz ‘Kuba’ Morgenstern ‘Perspective’ Award. His film Werewolf, in turn, won him awards such as for Best Directing at the 2018 Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
