Kordian Kądziela

Kordian Kądziela is a director and screenwriter. He graduated in Directing from the Radio and Television Faculty of the University of Silesia in Katowice. He is known for his distinctive style combining elements of surrealism, the absurd and irony with on-point observation of present-day reality. He made many short feature films such as Boo!, Tiwi, Lockjaw, Dregs and Larp (2014), the latter becoming the foundation for his feature-length debut. His films were awarded numerous times at Polish and international festivals, e.g. in Gdynia, Kraków, Saint Petersburg, Barcelona and Brest. In 2023 he co-directed the popular comedy series 1670 for Netflix.
