Magdalena Boczarska

Magdalena Boczarska is a film and theatre actress. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, and is currently performing at Teatr Polonia in Warsaw and at IMCA theatre. She collaborated with theatre companies abroad, including the Carrousel Theater in Berlin and Teatro Tatro in Slovakia. She played in numerous films. For her title role in Little Rose (dir. Jan Kidawa-Błoński) she won the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role award at the 2010 Polish Film Festival in Gdynia and the Golden Peacock at the 2010 IFFI in Goa. She also played the title character in The Art of Love: The Story of Michalina Wislocka, for which she received an Eagle in the Best Actress category. For her portrayal of Maria Piłsudska in Pilsudski she was awarded at the 2019 Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. She is the first Polish actress to have completed a long-distance triathlon. Moreover, she is a woman who wholeheartedly and with a sense of mission gets involved in community actions.
