Tomasz Jurkiewicz

Tomasz Jurkiewicz is a director and screenwriter, born in 1981. A graduate of directing at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Wajda School. He has made short films and documentaries that have won over a hundred awards at numerous Polish (Kraków, Gdynia, Koszalin) and international (Karlovy Vary, Seoul) film festivals. In 2021, he premiered his feature film debut titled ‘Everyone Has a Summer’, which received, among other prizes, the Best Director Award at the ‘Young and Film’ festival in Koszalin and a Golden Angel at Toffifest in Toruń.
