‘Avatar’ or Exchange of Souls
The peaceful life of the Łabińskis is disturbed by Oktawiusz de Saville. Mad with unreciprocated love for Countess Łabińska, he devises a scheme with a mysterious Brahmin to seduce his reluctant love interest and arrange an exchange of souls. But feminine intuition and… the poetry of one of the Three Bards threaten his vile plan. The film is an adaptation of a short story by Teofil Gautier.
