This year’s Gdynia Industry opens with a unique event. Its programme was created by students of Polish film schools and film departments in line with the motto of the Polish Film Festival, ‘Gdynia for Filmmakers’.

Gdynia Campus 2024 will host workshops on the financial aspects of film production and masterclasses with renowned creators. The highlight of the event is a networking lunch sponsored by Filmmakers, during which participants will meet with representatives of such key players as the Polish Film Institute, Polish Filmmakers Association, PFA Young Club, Polish Producers Alliance, PPA Young Producers Club, Producers Guild of Poland, Directors Guild of Poland, Union of Audiovisual Authors and Producers, as well as representatives of broadcasters and distributors.

Admission to the event is granted with a student, or industry accreditation, or upon presentation of a student ID from one of the partner schools.

10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. – 4xP: Let’s meet, seek and offer a project

During the introductory session, attendees can get to know each other, look for projects and find people to work with.

11.00 a.m. – 11.45 a.m. – Written as they speak or telling how to write – a short workshop on writing realistic dialogue

In this content-packed workshop with Grzegorz Łoszewski, you will learn how to write realistic dialogue.

12.00 p.m. – 12.45 p.m. – Firechat: Netflix x Gdynia Campus

Guests will answer questions about collaboration with Netflix on film and series production.

The networking lunch will allow you to meet representatives from key industry organisations, exchange contacts and ask burning questions.

Working in small groups, there will be an opportunity to ask experienced members of the PGP about budgeting short films.

3.30 p.m. – 4.15 p.m. How do you work with a non-professional actor in a feature film?

Damian Kocur will answer questions about working with non-professional actors.

16.30 p.m. – 17.15 p.m. Q&A: additional funding opportunities for student films

The meeting is a chance to ask questions about funding opportunities for student films.

5.15 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. Can you hear it?

You will learn how to tell a story creatively with rustling, crackling and atmosphere.
