Dovlatov
Six days in the life of Sergei Dovlatov, a brilliant, ironic writer who saw far beyond the rigid, oppressive limits of the 1970s Soviet Russia. Together with his friend, poet Iosif Brodsky, they struggle to preserve their own talent and integrity while seeing other artist friends getting crushed by the iron-willed Soviet apparatus. By emigrating to New York, they inadvertently lose all they’ve built back home.
