Piotr Domalewski

Piotr Domalewski is a director, screenwriter and actor. While he was studying Directing at the Radio and Television Faculty of the University of Silesia in Katowice he made several short films which won awards and were presented at numerous festivals. His feature-length debut Silent Night won acclaim at the 2017 Polish Film Festival in Gdynia and received the Golden Lions. It also won ten Eagle awards in 2018. Domalewski’s second film, I Never Cry, had its premiere at the 2020 San Sebastián IFF. Commissioned by Netflix, he directed the platform’s original production Operation Hyacinth. He actively pursues both cinema and series, constantly searching for new forms of telling stories.
