Sebastian Buttny

Director, screenwriter, editor and photographer. He began his film career in 1998 as an independent filmmaker. A few years later, in 2005, he graduated from the Directing Department of the Lodz Film School. During his studies he made short feature and documentary films. After graduation, he made music videos, screenings for theatre plays, educational spots and TV commercials. He worked as a film and television editor, and copywriter with DBB advertising agency. He is also the author of unmade.beds photography project. For his short film, Cezary w miastach, he won the Bronze Dinosaur Award at the IFF Etiuda&Anima. In 2014 he made his debut with his feature Heavy Mental.
