Andrzej Kondratiuk

Born in 1936 in Pińsk. Director, screenwriter and cinematographer. In 1955, he studied at the Direction of Photography and Television Production Department and, in 1962–1963, at the Film and TV Direction Department of the Lodz Film School. Between 1971 and 1973, he was the Chairperson of the Polish Federation
of Discussion Film Clubs. Author of such films as The Spindle of Time, Big Bang and Stardust. Died in 2016 in Grójec. Posthumously decorated with the Order of Polonia Restituta Fourth Class.
