The Linnet

dir.

Witold Leszczyński

1981, 1 h 28 min

Kaziuk lives a quiet life in his hometown of Taplary. He detests modernity until it takes the form of an alluring city teacher, who disrupts his peaceful life alongside his conservative wife. Witold Leszczyński’s masterpiece of visual poetry was awarded the Silver Lions at the 1984 PFF in Gdańsk (after a two-year break in organising the event caused by martial law).
