Michał Bielawski

Michał Bielawski is a documentary director and screenwriter. He enjoys working with archival footage, the observational mode, and fictionalised documentary. He has repeatedly tackled sport, political, and historical topics. He has collaborated with HBO Europe, TVP, Canal+, Viaplay, and the History Channel. His film The Wind: A Documentary Thriller, about the struggles of Podhale highlanders with the legendary mountain wind, earned him recognition and awards at international festivals.
