Agnieszka Wasiak

Producer, co-founder of the film production company Lava Films. Graduated from Lodz Film School and completed numerous training programmes, such as EAVE Producers Workshop, Berlinale Talent Campus, EP2C and Sources2. Recipient of the Polish Producers Alliance Award for the best short and documentary film producer in Poland at the 2016 Krakow Film Festival for the European Film Award-nominated and Polish Academy Award-winning documentary 21 x New York. She recently co-produced Polish-Italian film Sole by Carlo Sironi (Venice IFF, Toronto IFF) and Polish candidate for the Academy Award, Never Gonna Snow Again, by Małgorzata Szumowska and Michał Englert. Among other projects, she’s currently working on Aga Woszczyńska’s feature debut Dry Land. Member of the Polish and European Film Academy.
