Bartosz M. Kowalski

Bartosz M. Kowalski was born in 1984 in Gdynia. He graduated from film schools in Paris and Los Angeles. A winner of the 2014 Script Pro screenwriting competition, he has directed award-winning HBO documentaries. His controversial narrative feature debut, Playground, had its world premiere at the San Sebastián IFF. In recent years, he has been working with Netflix, directing commercial genre films for the streaming platform.
