Jerzy Gruza

Jerzy Gruza is a film, television and theatre director and screenwriter, and an actor. He was born in 1932 in Warsaw. He received his degree from the Directing Department of the Łódź Film School in 1985. As a screenwriter and director Jerzy Gruza made such feature films as The Woodpecker (1970), Moving (1972), Przyjęcie na dziesięć osób plus trzy (1973), The Ring and the Rose (1986). At the PFFF in 1976 he won the Audience Award with his film I’m a Butterfly.
