Xymena Zaręba

Xymena Zaręba was born in 2000 in Bydgoszcz. She studies cinematography at the Łódź Film School. Her films have received awards at numerous festivals; for example, Proch was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2024 Grand OFF Festival in Warsaw and was screened in the Film and Art School Etudes Competition at the 2023 Energa CAMERIMAGE in Toruń. She shot documentary films during residencies in South Korea in 2024 and Bangladesh in January 2025. She is currently working on her graduation film.
