“If we ever forgot them…” by Adam Sikorski at the 39. GFF!
The programme of the 39. Gdynia Film Festival includes the newest film by Adam Sikorski – “If We Ever Forgot Them…”. The film of the Polish director tells about the story of a mass action against the Polish people organised by the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (Ukraińska Powstańcza Armia, UPA) in Volhynia. In “If We Ever Forgot Them…” we focus on one of the most brutal episodes of the Volhynia massacre – the manslaughter of almost a thousand Poles in Ostrówki and Wola Ostrowiecka. Sikorski’s film casts the last living witnesses of those tragic events.
The screening of the film “If We Ever Forgot Them…” will be held on 17 September at 2:30 p.m. in Multikino (screening room no. 8)
