The faithful adaptation of an everlasting adventure-detective teenage classic. 1930s. A Frenchman arrives at Iwo Gąsowski’s manor near Vilnius and insists on buying an indebted property together with a neglected house. When the owner refuses to sell it, the old door disappear. And another one, and another… High school professor Piotr Gąsowski, a historian, asks Adam Cisowski – his most clever and famous for his detective achievements student – for help in solving the mystery of the puzzling robberies at his brother’s house. It has all started with a letter found in 1936 in Paris and written by Kamil de Berier, a Colonel in the Napoleon’s army, who during the retreat from Moscow left clues leading to a hidden treasure.
