Anna Jadowska
2017, 1 h 33 minEwa is the mother of two children. She raises them in the countryside, whereas her husband Andrzej earns the living of the family in Norway. The woman gets pregnant with a third baby. She leaves the family for a few months to avoid gossip. She gives the child away for adoption. When Andrzej comes for their daughter’s first communion, rumour about romance of his wife with a teenage boy reaches him. Stress between the spouses arises. Condemned by people, Ewa feels not understood, which also affects her relations with the children. Will the woman reconcile the fight for the marriage with her role of a mother who decided to abandon her child? It is another, after Teraz ja, Z miłości and Trzy kobiety, film of the director devoted to the topic of the position of the woman in the contemporary Polish society.
