The Son of Snow Queen
Robert Wichrowski
2016, 1 h 25 minThe 7-year-old Marcin, hungry for love and warmth, thanks to the pensioner writer Kazimierz runs away to the land of ficticious protagonists of Hans Christian Andersen. Only there can he feel safe. His mother brings him up single-handedly, barely making ends meet. Working two jobs and struggling with everyday life, the young woman doesn’t see what is the most important in life. When she meets Kamil, her life can change for the better. But will Anna, who is trying to ingratiate herself to the contemporary reality, full of temptations, choose the right path? The plot of the film, combining drama with contemporary fairy tale, is set in two dimensions, realistic and poetic-fairy-tale.
