The Chair
Daniel Szczechura
1963, 0 h 6 minA story of fighting over power told through ingenuously simple graphic measures. In the Column Hall of a monumental building, an important meeting is held. One place at the executive table is empty. It will be taken by the one who uses the best trick to get there. No holds barred, including tripping opponents up. The fight over the title armchair is shown from bird’s eye’s view: fighting humans remind of lively, abstract wheels, wielding up into groups or dispersing into different sides.
