Jan Rybkowski

Director, set designer, teacher. In 1930 he graduated from the Interior Design Department of University of Arts in Poznań. At the beginning of his career, Rybkowski was a set designer and stage decorator, in cinematography he also started as an art and costume designer. Between 1955 and 1968 he was the Artistic Director of RYTM Film Production. From 1974 to 1977 he was the Dean of The Film School in Łódź.
