Anna Jadowska
Born in 1973 in Oleśnica. Director and screenwriter. Studied Polish Philology at the University of Wroclaw. As a writer, she debuted in “Brulion” magazine and worked in the Polish Radio in Wroclaw. Graduate from the Lodz Film School, student of the Wajda School in Warsaw. Her diploma short film “Corridor” created in the Lodz Film School under the artistic supervision of Professor Wojciech Marczewski was shown at the “Europe in Shorts: Eastern Europe” at the 58th Festival de Cannes (2005).
Co-director of the feature film “Touch Me” (the Grand Prix award in The Independent Cinema Competition at the 28th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia; the award for the best film at the Slamdance Film Festival in Wroclaw, 2003; the Bronze Castle at the International Film Festival in Poznan OFF CINEMA, 2003; the Golden Duck Award of “Film” magazine for the Best Independent Film of 2003). Winner of the Grand Prize at the 14th Hartley-Merrill competition for the screenplay of “Out of Love”.
