We know the titles selected for the Perspectives Competition – a new section of the 49th Polish Film Festival
The Perspectives Competition presenting full-length feature films will have its premiere at the 49th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Films have been selected by Joanna Łapińska, the Artistic Director of the Festival, supported by the recommendation of the Organising Committee.
Joanna Łapińska says: “I find great satisfaction in presenting you today – for the first time in festival history – titles selected for the Perspectives Competition. Most of all, I would like to express my warmest thanks to filmmakers for their enthusiasm and openness. Your responses to the information that your films have been qualified for the new competition make me really glad. We are also very happy about the films! The eight, exceptionally diverse, films presented this year go their way boldly. I have no doubts that thanks to these productions and the Perspectives Competition itself, our meetings in Gdynia will be even more interesting!”
8 films have been selected for the Perspectives Competition, including 4 feature-length debuts and 1 second film.
