LONG LIVE FLIP-FLOPS! OR HOW TO BRING FESTIVAL GUESTS TOGETHER
– “I’m a size 38, trust me, it’s uncomfortable walking in size 41,” – luckily, we have a large pink flip-flop to the rescue.
Undoubtedly, the biggest hit of this year’s accreditation packages are the festival flip-flops. The collaboration with Kubota is clearly an unconventional solution and a nod to youthfulness.
Despite the cooler weather and fastapproaching autumn, you can stride anywhere in Kubota flip-flops with the FPFF design. The only issue is that no one asked the festival guests about their shoe size. As a result, few people received footwear that fits them in their package.
This led to a grassroots initiative – the flip-flop swap. At first, it was about asking around among friends, but that turned out to be insufficient. Enter the Flip-Flop Exchange Point, located by the giant pink flip-flop. There, you can leave a sticky note with your phone number, name, and preferred size.
– “Although the search is ongoing and it’s unclear whether it will succeed, it’s an interesting initiative and an opportunity to make new connections, integrate, and maybe even form friendships,” says one of the participants of the search.
It’s highly likely that the action will result in a marriage or a new film production… Long live flip-flops!
