The 49^th Polish Film Festival Opening Ceremony and the screening of Under the Volcano directed by Damian Kocur will take place in the Musical Theatre in Gdynia on 23^rd September at 7:00 p.m. Meeting with the filmmakers will be held after the screening

An in-depth depiction of the emotional state of a young Ukrainian intelligentsia Kovalenko family who is caught by surprise by the outbreak of war on the last day of their holiday on Tenerife. Their return to Kiev becomes impossible. In an instant, they turn from tourists to refugees.

The 49^th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia will take place on 23rd–28th September 2024.
