Polish Film Festival joins in to help flood victims!

We stand in solidarity with the residents of south-western Poland, who have been struggling with the effects of the flood in recent days. We will donate 50% of the proceeds from the sale of festival merchandise to institutions – designated by the Polish Cinema Association – from the areas affected by the disaster.

Additionally, given the seriousness of the situation in the country, the Festival Team has decided to cancel the planned film surprise for the Opening Gala, and the funds allocated for its production will be added to the donation pool.

We have also prepared a list of selected verified financial fundraisers and information on donation points in Gdynia, where essential items for flood victims can be dropped off. Here are the details:

POLISH HUMANITARIAN AID

Donations can be made via the PAH website or the fundraising page on zrzutka.pl. You can also donate via BLIK to the number 453 021 973 with the message: SOS FLOOD or by bank transfer to account number: 02 2490 0005 0000 4600 8316 8772 with the note “Powódź” (“Flood”).

THE GREAT ORCHESTRA OF CHRISTMAS CHARITY

WOŚP has already opened an account for donations towards emergency relief and the most urgent purchases of equipment and medical supplies: 12 1140 1010 0000 5244 4400 1043 (account at mBank).

CARITAS

On the website caritas.pl/powodz, you can donate via BLIK to the number +48 668 07 00 00 with the title POWODZ, or by traditional bank transfer to account: 77 1160 2202 0000 0000 3436 4384 with the note POWODZ.

• Collection points at the gyms of the Neighbourhood Houses: Gdynia Przystań Śmidowicza 49 and Gdynia Przystań Chylońska 237 (8:00AM-8:00PM).
