Wiesław Saniewski

Director, screenwriter and producer. Born in 1948 in Wrocław.. Graduate of Mathematics at the University of Wrocław and the Directing Department at the Film School in Łódź. He started his career as a film critic. He is the author of selections of reportage “First Step to Hell” and newspaper features “Innocence Lost in the cinema” and “Fortune-telling from Cinema”. The directing and screenwriting lecturer in Polish and foreign filmschools.
Winner of numerous international festivals in Poland, Europe and the USA, winner of the John Paul II Foundation Award for humanistic values presented in his films.
