Aleksander Dembski

Studied Polish Philology and Philosophy at the University of Łódź. In 1999 he graduated from Directing at the Radio and Television Faculty at the University of Silesia in Katowice. His amateur movies have won awards in Poland and other countries around the world, among others the gold medal at the UNICA Film Festival for his ‘Paper Sun’. After his studies he created documentaries, among others CROSS for Channel 1 of Polish TV and independent documentaries, such as „K2 – On the Edge” awarded both in Poland and abroad (among others – Grand Prix and Viewers Award at the IInd Krakow Mountain Festival).
