Ewa Borysewicz

Ewa Borysewicz is a director, screenwriter, visual artist and pedagogue. She graduated from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice and the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Currently, she is a doctoral student at the Lodz Film School. She has created award-winning animated films: To Thy Heart was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 2014 Berlinale and won the main prize at the 2014 Animateka International Animated Film Festival in Ljubljana. She participated in an artist-in-residence programme in Tokyo and Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart. She lives and works in Warsaw.
