Julia Sadowska

Julia Sadowska was born in 1996 in Warsaw and grew up as an immigrant in southeast England. At twenty-one, she started studying directing at the Lodz Film School. So far, she has made five short films about identity, echoing her experience of dual nationality. Her film A Starfish Is Born premiered at the PFF in Gdynia in 2022.
