Mara Tamkovich

Director, screenwriter and journalist. Born in Minsk, Belarus. Graduate of Journalism from the University of Warsaw and Directing from Warsaw Film School. She also completed the Development Lab Programme at Wajda School. Recipient of a scholarship from Kyoto-Kraków Foundation established by Andrzej Wajda and Krystyna Zachwatowicz-Wajda. Winner of She’s Mercedes Award. Her graduation film Daughter was one of the most screened and awarded Polish shorts of 2018 in Poland and abroad.
