Mohammed Almughanni

Mohammed Almughanni is a director and screenwriter born in Gaza, Palestine, in 1994. He obtained his BA and MA in directing from the Lodz Film School. His films, focusing on racial justice and socio-political life during wars, won awards at festivals such as the 2020 Ji.hlava IDFF, 2023 Amsterdam IDFA and 2024 Clermont-Ferrand ISFF. He aims to raise awareness about the problems faced by innocent civilians during war, including national identity and the issue of abandoned children.
