A jet plane disappears from the radar of the navigation screen. At the same time, a baby is born in the desert the plane flew over. The next day the baby is found by the commanding officer of the unit looking for the lost plane. A 12-year-old Tomek, adopted by the officer, meets with his girlfriend Sylwia. Since she is living, they decide to keep in telepathic contact. Upon the first contact, Tomek discovers he has a gift of predicting future events. He predicts the death of Sylwia who dies run over by a yellow sports car… Several years later, Tomasz works as a pilot of the military medical service. He receives an order to transport a heart for transplantation to the Middle East. The transport will be scheduled as soon as there is a donor. At home, Tomasz checks the message left on his answering machine by Sylwia whom he hasn’t seen for a long time and who is waiting for him in the Grand Hotel. Tomasz goes there at once, but upon arrival he is informed that Sylwia has left for a moment. While he is waiting for her, his pager rings. He leaves a message for Sylwia and rushes back to the base. At the airport, he finds out that the heart placed in a metal container belongs to a young woman who has been run over by a yellow sports car.
