We watch consecutive stages of the life of the protagonists, since the moment of the birth of the child to the last days of the mother, spent in solitude in hospital. An attempt at showing the emotional relation between close relative via original means of the film art. Brązowy Lajkonik, the FIPRESCI award and an award for cinematography at the Cracow Festival in 1980.
