2016, 2 h 3 minWarsaw 1977. Tomek, the son of the famous painter Zdzisław Beksiński, moves into his own apartment. His parents live just nearby, in the same block of flats so they’re all in touch. Tomek’s oversensitive and worrying personality makes his mother, Zofia, anxious about him all the time. Zdzisław Beksiński tries to immerse himself in his art totally. After Tomek’s first suicidal attempt Zdzisław and Zofia have to start fighting not only for their son but also for regaining control over their life. When Zdzisław signs a contract with a France-based art-dealer, Piotr Dmochowski, and Tomek starts working at the Polish Radio it seems that the three of them have left all their troubles behind. However, strange events marked by fate are still to come…
