The Liar

The screenplay of the film is based on a novel by Małgorzata
Musierowicz. The protagonist of “The Liar”, Aniela Kowalik, is 16, lives
in Ustka and dreams of becoming an actress. One day she falls in love
at first sight in Paweł Nowacki, who has come to Ustka for a few days.
After he goes away, enamoured Aniela decides to visit him in his
hometown of Poznań, she cannot imagine her life without Paweł and she
does not want to part from him.
