In a world where touch is forbidden, a young masseuse, Nina, works using hand extensions to avoid physical contact. She attends "self-touch" sessions, repeating mantras about safety and distance. One day, she meets Zocha, which changes everything. 

After a year at a convent school, 12-year-old Marga returns to her village in northern Argentina, only to find her family distant and her home unsettled.
