The 41st Gdynia Film Festival is held from 19 to 24 September 2016. The
Organizers of the 41st GFF are: the Ministry of Culture and National
Heritage, the Polish Film Institute, the Polish Filmmakers Association,
the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship and the President of the City
of Gdynia, the co-organizers are: TVP S.A. and HBO. The producer of the
Festival is the Pomeranian Film Foundation. The Director of the Festival
is Leszek Kopeć, the Artistic Director is Michał Oleszczyk. The
Festival is supported by numerous partners and sponsors. The Main
Sponsors of the 41st GFF are the partners of the event: PKN ORLEN and
PKO Bank Polski.
The Main Competition Winners will be announced in the evening on 24 September, when the Golden, Silver and Platinum Lions will be given. The Festival Closing Ceremony will be held in the Musical Theatre (the beginning, the Red Carpet at 5.30 P.M.) and will be broadcast by TVP 2 at 10.15 P.M.
